A Thank You from CMA Partner: HOUSE SF

To help our district family stay better connected, we'd like to share a letter received from Craig & Anne-Marie Matos, CMA partners and pastors of our church plant House SF in San Francisco:

Hello Alliance Family!

We had such an amazing time with you all at Encounter Conference 2016 and wanted to drop a quick note to say thank you for welcoming us into the Family with open arms. HOUSE SF is so honored to partner with the Christian and Missionary Alliance, and we would love to be a part of your world, too.

Please let us know how we can be praying for you and your church, and if there are any practical ways in which we can partner together. It’s our heart to do this journey with you. If we didn’t get the opportunity to introduce ourselves in person, here is a little bit about our story.

We both grew up in the Bay Area; however, it would be in Sydney, Australia where we would start our lives together. There, we trained as pastors and had the honor of building into the local church. Even though we loved our Aussie family, it was California that forever had our hearts. So the two of us made our way back in 2014 with a dream to start building a house that could become a home for The City.

Practically, this looked like hosting a small group in our very own living room for a few months as the church family grew and grew. In 2016, HOUSE SF opened its doors for our first ever Easter Service hosting about 70 people. The Church now meets in the heart of the city on Market Street every Sunday at 10am where we have the opportunity to LOVE GOD, LOVE PEOPLE, and LOVE OUR CITY.

We know that we could never do this alone; it is through God’s grace and a loving community that we have been able to see this dream become a reality. We are blessed with an amazing team of volunteers who are equally as passionate to see God’s House thrive and our city reached. It has been such a blessing to get to build this house with family and friends. Not to mention the covenant friends who have championed us since day one, like the Stirring Church in Redding, CA.

We believe we are better together! So Alliance Family, please don’t be a stranger. We would love to stay connected and hear about all that God is doing in and through your church.
