He is an Adjunct Professor at Alliance Theological Seminary (ATS) in Nyack, NY, where he teaches Soul Care at the Doctoral level and has taught various classes at the Masters level, including Personal, Professional and Theological Foundations for Ministry; Evangelism; Mentoring; Pastoral Methods; Person in Ministry; Soul Care; and Intimacy and Authority.

WORKSHOPS you want to attend:

All workshops will be lead by our Central Pacific District staff and will be available both Tuesday and Wednesday. Please choose the two sessions you would like to attend:

Empowering Your Church To Start A Hispanic Ministry - Edgar Castro

Edgar-Castro

Empowerment in the church takes place when pastors and church leaders delegate responsibility for ministry to laypeople, actually allowing them to do ministry and act on the power they already have through the Holy Spirit. As church leaders our role is not to control those under us but to empower them by granting them permission to become engaged in ministry (Ephesians 4:11,12). Just in California,14 Million out of the 34 Million people are Hispanic. And every CPD Alliance church has great empowered leaders that with God and the CPD help can start or plant a Hispanic Ministry.

LOCC - Mike Mitchum

Mike-MitchumI will be answering questions about the licensing, ordination, and consecration process. Included will be some exciting new opportunities for getting the education credits if needed. Come with any questions you have. I will try my best to answer them and encourage you in the process.

In this workshop, get envisioned to build a family culture within your church, city and in the nations. The greatest legacy isn’t the one we leave when we die, but the one we give while we live.
